Heavenly Father I come humbly before you and your Holy Throne to pray for your people. I ask you to answer each and every one of my prayers. Thank you Father in the precious and holy name of Jesus

Father, I pray for the Evangelists and Missionaries of this world. Supply every one of their needs. Let them overflow with the power of the Holy Spirit. Give them special spiritual gifts and impart wisdom and knowledge and discernment to them to enable them to do your work. Protect them from the evil one and watch out for their safety wherever they are. Father, I ask you to answer all their prayers and send them to every country in the world to lead the unsaved souls to you. Let their work be a blessing to your kingdom and your people.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for all the persecuted Christians and their persecutors in the world. I ask you to protect your people and free the persecuted Christians and set them free from their captivity. Break the chains so they can serve you freely. Father, I pray for the persecutors salvation and ask that their hearts and minds would be turned to your word and they too would have a desire to know and serve you. Bless them and restore them to new life in you.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the Pastor’s of this world. I ask that you would supply all of their needs, give them a fresh anointing continuously and impart to them wisdom and knowledge and focus to serve you. Protect them from the evil one and evil things of this world, look out for their safety as well as their families. Father, I ask you to give every spiritual leader an ambition to be like Lord Jesus and have a desire to reach out to lost souls and I ask that you would purify them and let them have a passion for God’s glory in every situation. Guide them, direct them and make every decision for your Kingdom work and let them hear your voice so they can walk Holy lives with you.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the Presidents and the members of the Senate and Congress of the governments of the world. I ask that you would supply their life needs. Fill these leaders with the power of the Holy Spirit and impart wisdom and knowledge to them so they have a desire to serve you and be supportive of Christian work. Let the lost and unsaved among them come to you and receive their salvation. Father I ask you to move their hearts to bring Prayer back into the schools of the world

Father, I pray for the prisoners of this world. I ask you to touch their hearts. I claim authority in Jesus’ name to break the yokes and remove the burdens and bondage’s in their lives and turn their hearts and minds to your word, to receive their salvation and restore their lives. Use them for your Kingdom work.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the people’s work that is destroying others lives. Dope dealers, Porno dealers, Prostitutes, Abortionists, and the Gangsters of this world. I claim authority in Jesus’ name to break the yoke and remove the burdens in their lives. Let sin not have dominion over them and I ask you to release the captives from their bondages. Lord, let the power of your spirit transform and change the minds, the thoughts, the actions, everything about them and deliver them from their old lives to new life. Give them wisdom and knowledge so they will have a desire to do your work and follow you.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the Gays and Lesbians of this world. I claim authority in Jesus’ name to break the yoke and remove the burdens in their lives and break their chains of bondage. Free them from their old lives and deliver them. Father, let their hearts turn to you and receive their salvation. Have mercy on them.

Father, I pray for the school children and the principals and teachers of this world. Let them start their day with prayer in the schools and hear the stories of the bible each day. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit be present in the world’s schools and let him touch every child’s heart. Let them come to you for their salvation and be delivered from their old life to new life in you. Give them wisdom and knowledge so they can serve you. Father bless them with your desires and protect them from the evil one and evil things of the world.

Father, I pray for all the poor countries of the world such as China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Russia, Turkey, India and Africa and other poor countries of the world. Father, I ask you to open the windows of heaven and let your blessing begin to flow over your peoples. Prevent these people from starving, supply their needs and let them have life more abundantly. Restore their health. Father, I claim authority in Jesus’ name to break the yokes and remove the burdens in their lives and I ask you to touch each and every unsaved soul in these countries and ignite them with the fire of the holy spirit. Let them come to you and receive the salvation of their soul. Don’t let anyone miss knowing you. Let the ones that have been saved be filled with the Holy Spirit and give them the desire to serve you.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for Israel and Jordan and ask that you would pour out your blessing and peace on these countries and protect these people from terrorists and their activities. Supply the needs of the people of these countries, give them a fresh anointing, abundant life and good health. Father, let the traveling tourists be protected when they come to pray in your Holy City. Protect them from the dangers and evil; let them all receive a fresh anointing, new joy and peace as they return safely to their homes.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray that your spirit would come into the hearts of women pregnant with unwanted children. Soften their hard hearts Father and impart to them the miracle of conception and childbirth. Let them know how precious life is in your eyes Father. Encourage and strengthen them Father to bear and raise these precious lives they carry in their wombs.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the needy people of this world. I ask you to bring blessing into each and every life and supply their needs. Restore new life unto your people and let them all live in your blessing and guidance and surrender their lives to you. Let their hearts all be touched by your spirit. Give peace and joy to the lonely people as well as people in nursing homes and hospitals. Deliver them from the bondage of their darkness, sins and spirit of infirmity. Bless their health and let your divine healing virtues flow through their physical and mental bodies continuously. Let their blessing bring glory to your name.

Father, I pray for every lost soul in this world. I ask that you would touch each and every one of their hearts with the fire of the Holy Spirit, let them all come to you to receive the salvation of their souls. Don’t let anyone miss knowing you. Deliver them and reveal to them that you love them all. Restore their lives in you as well as people in the 10/40 window and heathen countries. Let their salvation bring you Glory.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the Jews and Muslims. Father, I ask you to pour the fire of the Holy Spirit into these countries, ignite all these people’s hearts. Let them all receive their salvation. Lord, I ask you to deliver them from all the evils and have mercy on them. Protect the innocents in these countries and reveal to them that Jesus is your son.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray for the peoples of the Southern Sudan in Africa. I ask you Father to protect them from their persecutors. Restore their lives in you. Father, I ask that you would help in all areas of their need, such as Doctors, Medicines, food supplies, evangelists and missionaries. Father, you are the healer and provider of your children’s needs. I ask that you would heal the incurable diseases. I also ask you to pour out the fire of the Holy Spirit into this country and ignite each and every heart and let them all receive salvation and empower each and every one of them to serve you.
Thank you Father.

Father, I pray that Revival would sweep through the whole world. I ask that the fire of the Holy Spirit would fall on every church and ignite your people’s hearts. Let each and every person be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and transform and destroy fleshly things in them. Impart to each of them wisdom, knowledge and discernments of the spirits. Stir up your people’s hearts with the power of the spirit and let them have a burning desire to reach out to all the unsaved souls in this world. Father, let all your people repent and purify themselves for your kingdom and let each and every one of them prepare for the soon return of your son Lord Jesus.

Father, I pray for the military personnel and police of the world as well as their families. I ask you to protect them from the evil one and evil things and watch out for their safety wherever they are. I ask you to touch each and every heart among them who haven’t been saved and let them all be soldiers for your Kingdom work. Impart your wisdom and knowledge and your desire for them to serve you. Guide and direct every area of their lives and let their lives touch the lives of others for your Gospel.
Thank you Father.

Father I pray for each and every person who is believing in false God’s/Idols in this world. I ask that you would reveal to them that you are the almighty God to whom all things are possible so no one can miss knowing you. Deliver them from the bondage of demonic power, darkness, and strongholds of religious thoughts that keeps them in ignorance of their salvation. Whatever is binding them, set them free and deliver them from the enemy’s power, let them see the truth of the Gospels. Whatever it takes, Father, set these people free from Satan’s power. Let their hearts be touched by your Spirit and resist the work of the Devil. Impart to them your wisdom and discernment so they can understand your words. Bless these peoples salvation with your mercifulness Father.

Kesaksian Louisa Bernadette Indrawati

Tinggi badan Louisa Bernadette Indrawati (34) hanya 74 cm. Jauh dari ukuran tinggi rata-rata wanita Indonesia . Namun, dengan fisik yang tak sempurna, ia bisa menikah, bahkan melahirkan anak. Sejak itu namanya menghiasi media massa . Inilah kisah Louisa yang menakjubkan. ..

TUMBUH DENGAN HARAPAN

Louisa merasa dirinya berbeda ketika masuk TK. Ia melihat teman sebayanya tak sekecil dirinya. Bentuk tubuh, tangan, dan kakinya sangat lain dari yang lain. "Papa dan Mama bilang, meski berbeda, aku tidak boleh minder. Pasti Tuhan kasih kelebihan. Pasti Tuhan punya rencana indah untukmu," kisah anak pertama dari tujuh bersaudara pasangan Andreas Sukardji Kusno dan Maria Magdalena Sriyati. Kata-kata positif, motivasi, dan kasih yang penuh dari orangtua membawa Louisa tumbuh dengan harapan. Ia bisa menerima dengan lapang tatkala orang melihatnya dengan tatapan aneh.

Lulus SD, Louisa mempunyai pengertian di hatinya. Ia kerap minta diantar sekolah dengan kendaraan umum meski orangtua telah menyediakan mobil untuk antar jemput. "Biar saya bisa bertemu banyak orang. Naik bis atau angkutan umum memberi banyak pengalaman. Saya tanamkan dalam diri saya, tak boleh minder kalau mau maju". Louisa rajin belajar. Nilai rapornya bagus. Ia selalu juara dan masuk tiga besar di kelasnya. Jalur pendidikan yang dilaluinya pun sekolah umum. "Saya tidak pernah masuk ke pendidikan untuk anak cacat," ungkap wanita kelahiran Kediri, 27 Mei 1974.

Saat kuliah hukum atas anjuran ayahnya yang jaksa, Louisa diam-diam, tanpa sepengetahuan orangtuanya, mengambil kuliah komputer sampai lulus D3. Ia sangat tertarik dengan tekonologi. Lulus kuliah, Louisa bekerja di perusahaan komputer. "Percaya diri itu memang ada, tapi saya tetap tahu diri dengan keadaan tubuh saya. Saya tak pernah terpikir menikah. Saya mengadopsi bayi berumur 20 hari. Saya memberinya nama Maria Rosa Widya Buana." Louisa mengasuh dan mendidik Rosa penuh kasih. Bak ibu pada anak-nya. "Dia juga selalu tiga besar," kata Louisa tersenyum ke arah Rosa .

BERLIBUR KE BALI

Desember 1999, Louisa ambil cuti tahunan dan berlibur ke Bali bersama Rosa . Ke mana pun pergi, Louisa selalu membawa Alkitab. Ia berusaha dapat membacanya setiap hari. Louisa tahu pasti, kekuatan hidupnya terletak pada kedekatannya dengan Tuhan. Di pesawat, Louisa membaca Alkitab. Namun, tanpa sengaja Alkitab itu terjatuh. Tiba-tiba saja laki-laki yang duduk di sebelahnya mengambilkan Alkitab itu, "Mbak, ini Alkitabnya." Louisa pun mengangguk menerima Alkitab dan berucap singkat, "Thanks." "Saya selalu berusaha menghindari perkenalan yang berkepanjangan dengan pria. Saya takut jatuh cinta. Saya sadar betul akan diri saya," ungkapnya.

Pria tadi beberapa kali mengajaknya mengobrol yang dijawab singkat. Bahkan cenderung cuek. "Mbak, mbak kan orang Kristen, kok sombong sih?" Dug! Louisa benar-benar kaget dengan komentar itu. Sombong? Sesungguhnya di hati yang paling dalam Louisa minder! Selama ini ia sengaja tidak pernah ramah dengan setiap pria yang ditemuinya. Ia sadar ternyata sikapnya itu telah melukai orang lain. Ya, bukankah ia pengikut Kristus yang harus jadi berkat? Perkenalan pun terjadi. Mereka bertukar alamat email dan nomor telepon. Pria tadi bernama Handoyo Suryo. Setelah perkenalan itu, Handoyo menghubunginya. Lalu mereka saling menelepon, kirim email, dan chatting. Persahabatan pun terjalin.

Satu kali, tanpa sengaja mereka bertemu kembali di Jogja saat keduanya tugas kantor. "Saya kaget bukan main. Saya lagi makan bareng teman-teman di restoran. Eh, Handoyo juga di restoran itu. Akhirnya kami ngobrol satu meja." Selesai makan mereka kembali ke hotel masing-masing. Saat berpisah itulah, Louisa merasakan hal aneh di hatinya. Ia berpikir tentang Handoyo. Jatuh cinta? Ah, tidak. Tidak! Louisa mencoba menepis perasaan lain dari sekadar persahabatan. Hati Louisa bergejolak. Entahlah, malam itu Louisa merasakan ketulusan Handoyo. Louisa berdoa, bertanya pada Tuhan tentang perasaan itu. "Tuhan seolah menjawab, Handoyo itu orang baik".

LAMARAN PERTAMA

Tiga tahun bersahabat, tiba-tiba Handoyo datang menemui Louisa sambil membawa cincin, "Will you marry me?" Louisa tersentak. Campur aduk perasaan dalam hatinya. Betulkah? Seriuskah? Ah, tidak mungkin. Lamaran Handoyo saat itu terasa lebih sebagai penghinaan. "Saya tepiskan cincin yang dibawanya. Saya marah. Saya bilang padanya, tidak. Ini nggak mungkin terjadi." Hatinya menangis. Lamaran itu ditolaknya. Handoyo mencoba meyakinkan bahwa lamaran itu betul-betul serius. Louisa tak percaya. Setelah kejadian itu, hubungan mereka memburuk. Louisa tak mau mengangkat telepon dari Handoyo. SMS dan email pun tak dibalasnya.

LAMARAN KEDUA

Handoyo benar-benar serius! Lamaran kedua dilakukan. Ia membawa orangtuanya dari Surabaya datang ke Jakarta . Namun, ketegangan terjadi karena orangtua Handoyo sangat kaget melihat keadaan Louisa. Lamaran kedua pun akhirnya batal.

KEYAKINAN

Handoyo yakin benar Louisa adalah pasangan yang diberikan Tuhan baginya. Itu selalu diucapkan pada Louisa, "Mari kita sama-sama berdoa. Tuhan Maha ajaib. Dia akan buka jalan." Menjawab keyakinan Handoyo, Louisa hanya berkata, "Kalau memang kehendak Tuhan, kamu pasti bisa meyakinkan orangtuamu dan orangtuaku."

PERNIKAHAN KUDUS

Agustus 2004, doa itu terjawab. Handoyo dan keluarga datang melamar Louisa. Keharuan tak dapat dibendung. Orangtua Louisa menerima lamaran untuk anak sulungnya tanpa keraguan. Empat bulan kemudian, 13 Oktober 2004, Louisa dan Handoyo mengikat janji dalam sakramen pernikahan kudus di Gereja St. Vincentius A. Paulo, Kediri . Di hadapan pastor, umat, dan keluarga janji setia diucapkan. Mereka akan bersama dalam susah dan senang, dalam miskin dan kaya, dalam sehat dan sakit sampai maut memisahkan. "Sesuatu yang tidak pernah terpikirkan, diberikan Tuhan bagi saya. Saya diberi suami yang sangat baik," tutur haru wanita yang kerap bersaksi di berbagai gereja itu.

KELAHIRAN YANG AJAIB

Dua bulan menikah, Louisa terlambat datang bulan. "Saya pikir ya biasalah mungkin karena capek. Tapi suami mendorong periksa ke dokter. Menyampaikan hasil positif hamil, dokter ngeliatin saya. Seperti nggak percaya. Saya dan suami juga nggak kalah kaget."

Berita ini keruan saja menghebohkan keluarga. Senang sekaligus khawatir. Apalagi setelah dokter menjelaskan bahwa kehamilannya sangat berisiko. Dokter pun menyarankan untuk aborsi demi keselamatan ibu dan anak. Handoyo dan Louisa terus berdoa. "Setelah berdoa, saya yakin meneruskan kehamilan saya. Suami juga sepakat. "Setelah hamil enam bulan sepuluh hari, Rabu, 15 Juni 2005 tepat 07.40 Wib, Louisa melahirkan bayi wanita yang diberi nama Maria Gabriella Handoyo di RSAB Harapan Kita.

Sungguh hari yang sangat bersejarah. Bukan hanya bagi Louisa, tapi juga dunia kedokteran. Peristiwa ini diliput hampir semua stasiun TV, radio, dan media cetak.

"Puji Tuhan. Tak habis-habisnya kami bersyukur pada Allah," kata wanita yang Juni 2005 tercatat di MURI sebagai wanita pertama Indonesia dengan ukuran tubuh 74 cm yang berhasil melahirkan. Meski lahir amat prematur, Gaby tumbuh dengan baik karena Louisa memberinya ASI.

Gaby, demikian Louisa dan Handoyo memanggilnya. Bayi normal itu kini telah tumbuh menjadi bocah yang lincah dan pintar. "Tinggi badannya sudah lebih 2 cm dari saya," kata Louisa saat berdiri di sebelah Gaby. Menakjubkan! Apa yang dialami Louisa seperti harapan yang tak mungkin. "Tapi bagi Tuhan apa yang tidak mungkin?" kata Louisa menutup wawancara dengan Bahana di rumahnya, di bilangan Jakarta Barat.

Cinta Ini Milikmu Mama

"Rosa, bangun.. Sarapanmu udah mama siapin di meja."

Tradisi ini sudah berlangsung 26 tahun, sejak pertama kali aku bisa mengingat tapi kebiasaan mama tak pernah berubah.

"Mama sayang. ga usah repot-repot ma, aku sudah dewasa.", pintaku pada mama pada suatu pagi. Wajah tua itu langsung berubah. Pun ketika mama mengajakku makan siang di sebuah restoran. Buru-buru kukeluarkan uang dan kubayar semuanya, ingin kubalas jasa mama selama ini dengan hasil keringatku.. Raut sedih itu tak bisa disembunyikan.

Kenapa mama mudah sekali sedih? Aku hanya bisa mereka-reka, mungkin sekarang fasenya aku mengalami kesulitan memahami mama karena dari sebuah artikel yang kubaca.. orang yang lanjut usia bisa sangat sensitive dan cenderung untuk bersikap kanak-kanak. tapi entahlah.. Niatku ingin membahagiakan malah membuat mama sedih. Seperti biasa, mama tidak akan pernah mengatakan apa-apa.

Suatu hari kuberanikan diri untuk bertanya, "Ma, maafin aku kalau telah menyakiti perasaan mama. Apa yang bikin mama sedih?"

Kutatap sudut-sudut mata mama, ada genangan air mata di sana. Terbata-bata mama berkata, "Tiba-tiba mama merasa kalian tidak lagi membutuhkan mama. Kamu sudah dewasa, sudah bisa menghidupi diri sendiri. Mama tidak boleh lagi menyiapkan sarapan untuk kamu, mama tidak bisa lagi jajanin kamu. Semua sudah bisa kamu lakukan sendiri"

Ah, Ya Tuhan, ternyata buat seorang Ibu, bersusah payah melayani putra-putrinya adalah sebuah kebahagiaan. Satu hal yang tak pernah kusadari sebelumnya. Niat membahagiakan bisa jadi malah membuat orang tua menjadi sedih karena kita tidak berusaha untuk saling membuka diri melihat arti kebahagiaan dari sudut pandang masing-masing.

Diam-diam aku merenungkan. Apa yang telah kupersembahkan untuk mama dalam usiaku sekarang? Adakah mama bahagia dan bangga pada putrinya?

Ketika itu kutanya pada mama. Mama menjawab "Banyak sekali nak kebahagiaan yang telah kamu berikan pada mama. Kamu tumbuh sehat dan lucu ketika bayi adalah kebahagiaan. Kamu berprestasi di sekolah adalah kebanggaan buat mama. Setelah dewasa, kamu berprilaku sebagaimana seharusnya seorang hamba, itu kebahagiaan buat mama. Setiap kali binar mata kamu mengisyaratkan kebahagiaan di situlah kebahagiaan orang tua."

Lagi-lagi aku hanya bisa berucap "Ampunkan aku ya Tuhan kalau selama ini sedikit sekali ketulusan yang kuberikan kepada mama. Masih banyak alasan ketika mama menginginkan sesuatu." Betapa sabarnya mamaku melalui liku-liku kehidupan.

Mamaku seorang yang idealis, menata keluarga, merawat dan mendidik anak-anak adalah hak prerogatif seorang ibu yang takkan bisa dilimpahkan kepada siapapun. Ah, maafin kami mama..... 18 jam sehari sebagai "pekerja" seakan tak pernah membuat mama lelah.. Sanggupkah aku ya Tuhan?

"Rosa, bangun nak.. sarapannya udah mama siapin di meja.. ". Kali ini aku lompat segera.. kubuka pintu kamar dan kurangkul mama sehangat mungkin, kuciumi pipinya yang mulai keriput, kutatap matanya lekat-lekat dan kuucapkan.. "Terimakasih mama, aku beruntung sekali memiliki mama yang baik hati, ijinkan aku membahagiakan mama." Kulihat binar itu memancarkan kebahagiaan..

Cintaku ini milikmu, Mama. Aku masih sangat membutuhkanmu.. Maafkan aku yang belum bisa menjabarkan arti kebahagiaan buat dirimu..

Sahabat.. tidak selamanya kata sayang harus diungkapkan dengan kalimat "Aku sayang padamu." Namun begitu, Tuhan menyuruh kita untuk menyampaikan rasa cinta yang kita punya kepada orang yang kita cintai..

Ayo kita mulai dari orang terdekat yang sangat mencintai kita, Ibu. Walau mereka tak pernah meminta. Percayalah.. kata-kata itu akan membuat mereka sangat berarti dan bahagia..

"Ya Tuhan, cintailah mamaku, beri aku kesempatan untuk bisa membahagiakan mama selagi ENGKAU mengizinkan aku hidup. Dan jika saatnya nanti mama Kau panggil, terimalah dan jagalah ia disisiMu.. Titip mamaku ya Tuhan.."

He Will Do Great Things

Today's Scripture

"Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things” (Joel 2:21).

God wants to do great things in your life! Notice this verse starts out by saying “fear not.” Fear is a barrier to the promises of God. The Bible says that whatever does not come from faith is sin, or missing the mark. Don’t ever let fear be a factor in the choices you make in life. If you make choices because you are afraid of something, that fear will block the blessing of the Lord in that area. Overcome fear by meditating on the promises of God’s love and goodness. Perfect love casts out all fear. When you understand the love of God, you have nothing to fear. You know the Lord will do great things! Let that sink down into your spirit today. Meditate on this verse and declare it out loud every day. As you study God’s Word your faith will grow and fear will be gone from your life. You’ll know his love and you will experience His goodness in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for goodness and faithfulness. Show me Your perfect love so that may know You. I choose to rejoice in you and trust that You will do great things in my life! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
